- SOURCES SOURGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL BUT RATHER FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Patrick Air Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered as a set-aside under a 8(a) small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement for a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract at Patrick Air Force Base and/or Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Please note on all responses if you are interested in only one of the locations or both. Any resultant contract(s) shall be for a period of one base year and four one-year options with a potential of not more than six cumulative months of extension beyond any option period(s). Final maximum length of any resultant contract is not to exceed 5 years and 6 months. The size standard for NAICS 236220 is $33.5M. The government is interested in all 8(a) small businesses including, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned or Woman Owned Small Businesses that are interested in performing this requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision.
