Description

The 409th CSB/ECC-E (Theater Contracting Center) intends to award a contract for the rental of one (1) 16-Ton Forklift (Kalmar DC16, Brand name or equal) in support of Defense Logistics Agency - DLA Distribution Europe located in Germersheim, Germany. The contract shall have a firm-fixed-price monthly contract line item number (CLIN) for the rental of one (1) 16-Ton Forklift to include all preventive maintenance and unscheduled maintenance/repairs. Delivery of the 16-Ton Forklift shall be FOB destination Germersheim, Germany on the first day of the rental period of performance. The period of performance begins 1 June 2011. This acquisition is being procured on a full and open competition basis using Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and Part 13.5. The period of performance will be one-year with one option year to extend the period of performance. The anticipated award date is 23 May 2011. Specific details, vehicle specifications, and the Statement of Work shall be included in the Request For Quote (RFQ) number W912CM-11-T-0088 to be issued on or about 28 March 2011 to close 30 days after the RFQ issue date. The Department of Defense requires all Contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective Contractors shall complete electronic annual representation and certification via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written RFQ.
