- THIS IS ONLY THE ADVANCED NOTICE. THE SOLICITATION, INCLUDING ALL MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE POSTED AFTER 04 APRIL, 2011, FOR THE LUMBER AND HARDWARE ITEMS GENERALLY DESCRIBED BELOW. NO RESPONSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This will be a small business set-aside solicitation. NAICS Code:444190Size Standard: $19M Purpose: Wrangell St. Elias National Park requires approximately 11,000 board feet of finished lumber, 12,000 board feet of douglas fir beveled siding, 8,000 board feet of douglas fir ship lap, cedar shingles, and related galvanized nails, bolts for delivery to Wrangell St. Elias National Park,McCarthy West Side Worksite Alaska on or about 07/29/2011 (subject to change). All supplies shall be FOB Destination, Wrangell St. Elias National Park, McCarthy Airport, Mile 50 of the Mcarthy Road. Mccarthy is 50 miles from Chitina Alaska, over rough unpaved road. The respondent will be required to obtain a bridge pass from the bridge owner, Rowcon Services, Bridges LLC located in McCarthy, Alaska, to cross into the National Park. ALL VENDORS WISHING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS SOLICITATION MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRY (CCR) DATABASE PRIOR TO AN AWARD BEING MADE.
