- Princeton University Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a U.S. Department of Energy Prime Contractor, requests expressions of interest, preliminary reviews and comments, and cost and schedule estimates to produce five (5) W7X Trim Coils (4 each Type A and 1 each Type B) in accordance with the draft version of Trim Coil Manufacturing Specification # W7X-SPEC-TRIM-001-00, dated March 14,2011 and preliminary drawings. The referenced documents may be downloaded from the PPPL Procurement Division public Internet site at http://procurement.pppl.gov/, by clicking on the "Procurement Opportunities" link, and then clicking on the "Request for Expressions of Interest" link. Please be advised that PPPL will not reimburse parties for any costs incurred in responding to this Request for Information. Expressions of Interest, including specification comments amd cost and schedule estimates, must be delivered to PPPL W7X Trim Coil RFI Coordinator Natalya Gnyp by 5:00 PM local time, Monday, April 15, 2011. Should PPPL proceed with issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for this requirement, all parties responding to this RFI will be notified of RFP availability.
