- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certificates, insurance, temporary protection, and other items designated under the provisions of this contract Install CCTV camera system, project number 585-11-107 necessary for the installation of Government supplied six (6) exterior CCTV cameras for Buildings 1, 2 and 6 and eleven (11) interior CCTV camera system for Building 1 of the VA Medical Center Iron Mountain as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. When project is complete the system shall be fully functional, programmed, personnel trained in usage, commissioned and integrated into the SimplexGrinnell CCure 9000 security system. All work is to be completed within 90 days after the issuance of the notice to proceed. This construction project is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSBs). All prospective contractors must be registered on the VetBiz website, www.vetbiz.gov, to be considered for award. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Fedbizops. There will be pre-construction conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation packages. The solicitation will be issued on/about April 02, 2011 with the bid opening on/about May 02, 2011. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from Fedbizops which may be issued to this solicitation. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to VOSB construction firms. The project magnitude range is between $100,00 - $250,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210; size standard $14 Million applies. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration and in accordance with FAR 2.101, VAAR 802.101, VetBiz Registration, prospective firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the VetBiz databases prior to award.
