- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award one contract under BAA HM1582-11-BAA-0002 in support of the Characterization of Cirrus and Aerosol Properties (CCAP) Program. The CCAP effort will attempt to develop atmospheric compensation techniques for overhead remotely sensed data that accounts for thin cloud (e.g., cirrus), aerosol and water vapor radiative effects. Award will be based on merit competition. The total period of performance for the contact is one year, the possibility of two one year options with a total period of performance that will not exceed 36 months. To access the BAA please go to http://arc.westfields.net (ICARC). New users of the ICARC must first register (using the "Create New Account" button on the ICARC homepage) and obtain a user identifier and password to access the site. Organizations of all kinds also can register (using the "Register Company" button on the Web page) for future unclassified RFP and BAA solicitations. Once registered and logged in at the ICARC, potential Offerors can click and select the CCAP 2011 ICARC page under the "Current IC Efforts" list. The BAA document files will be posted under the BAA tab on that ICARC page. Offerors must also use the Q&A link on the CCAP 2011 ICARC page to submit a question or comment regarding the BAA, and to view the responses to all questions and comments, including those submitted by other organizations. Offerors are cautioned to make sure that the instructions set forth in the BAA are closely followed regarding submission of proposals in response to the BAA. Proposals are to be submitted under the CCAP 2011 ICARC page section, only. Finally, offerors must periodically check the CCAP 2011 ICARC page for announcements regarding updates or changes to the CCAP 2011 BAA. These updates will be made via announcements, additional or revised document postings, or responses to questions/comments made via the Q&A function. Offerors are responsible for maintaining awareness of BAA updates via the ICARC as there will be no other source for announcement of updates or changes to the BAA other than the ICARC.
