- SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS Brief description: Sources Sought for Fort Rucker Refuse Services Response Date: March 30, 2011; 17:00 CDT Contracting Officer: Christopher Martin christopher.martin10@us.army.mil Contract Specialist: Angela McCormick angela.m.mccormick@us.army.mil Address: Building 5700, Room 380, Fort Rucker, Alabama 36362-5000 NAICS Code: 562111 Place of Performance: Fort Rucker, Alabama 36362 This is a sources sought announcement ONLY, and is not an intent to procure. A solicitation is not available at this time, and any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Fort Rucker Mission Installation Contracting Command is conducting market research to determine the availability of firms who can provide all personnel, supervision, services, supplies and equipment necessary to perform refuse collection services at various buildings and activities located on Fort Rucker, Alabama. The goal is to support mission accomplishment by providing a clean healthy environment for occupants, users, and visitors to facilities/locations identified to receive refuse removal services through proper coordination and efficiency while minimizing disruptions to operations within the facilities/locations and meeting security requirements. A Performance Work Statement (PWS) is not available at this time and requests for one will not receive a response. The PWS will only be provided if and when a solicitation is issued. Potential sources are also requested to provide the contract number(s), dollar value(s) and brief description of previous work (within the past 3 years) or work currently being performed which specifically demonstrates the contractor's ability to successfully satisfy the requirements identified above. Point of contact information (name, telephone number, email address) shall be provided where available for the efforts cited above. All responses to this sources sought are limited to two pages and must include the following additional information: name and address of firm, commercial activity/government entity (CAGE) code, small business size status, point of contact name, title, phone, and email. Interested sources shall submit all replies by email to Christopher Martin (Contracting Officer) christopher.martin10@us.army.mil no later than 17:00 CDT on Wednesday, 30 March 2011. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be made. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT OR TO OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. This request for information is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Request for Proposal (RFP), or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your responses to this sources sought will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this sources sought or Government use of such information.
