- The U.S. Army Contracting Command Picatinny on behalf of Project Manager - Towed Artillery Systems (PM-TAS) intends to award a FFP Contract for production of 210 Spade Damper Assemblies in support of the Lightweight 155mm Howitzer Program to Taylor Devices, NY on a sole source basis. The Justification & Approval (J&A), currently being staffed, addresses duplication costs to the Government and unduly schedule delays. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 USC 2304(c)(1) where no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
