- Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for General Construction and Minor Design-Build, Maintenance and Repair Services at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). Projects will be primarily for the VA Medical Centers in Spokane and Walla Walla, Washington, and Boise, Idaho or on a case-by-case basis, other locations within VISN 20 as designated by a Contracting Officer. The MATOC will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a base year and four option years. Work will be assigned by the placement of individual Task Orders (TO) issued against the basic contract. The physical work period and magnitude of construction will be identified in individual TOs. The minimum amount per TO is $2,000 for construction and $2,500 for service. The maximum amount per TO is the SAT. The ceiling amount is $5.0 million per MATOC. Work includes, but not limited to; the preventative and routine maintenance, remodeling and replacement are planned in a number of trades and some design-build services. Work items will appeal to general, roofing, civil, plumbing, electrical, painting, mechanical, asbestos and lead abatement contractors and equipment operators commonly found in commercial construction. The NAICS is 236220 applies and size standard is $33.5 Million. This procurement is 100% set-aside for certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Offers from other than certified SDVOSB concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov. Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award. While this certification is not required prior to the proposal due date, the government is not obligated to delay an award until the certification is received. Solicitation package will be available on or about April 4, 2011. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued.
