- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks To Lease Class A Office Space NEW YORK-MANHATTAN, NY The United States Government seeks to lease Class A, contiguous office space consisting of approximately 11,524 rentable square feet in NEW YORK-MANHATTAN, NY within the following delineated area: North: East 61st Street; South: East 38th Street; East: Third Avenue; West: Fifth Avenue. The space should yield a minimum of 10,021 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. The proposed lease is for 10 years, 5 years firm and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than April 1, 2012. Space on not more than two (2) contiguous floors will be considered with approximately 85% of total space located on one (1) floor. The office general space will be located on one floor and the storage, multipurpose room and/or video conference room will be located on the other floor. First floor, single floor, contiguous space is preferred. Space above ground level must be serviced by at least two (2) elevators, one of which may serve as a freight elevator. Basement or below grade space is unacceptable. The offered space must meet Government requirements for GSA Life and Fire Safety Standards and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABBAS) Requirements. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Handicapped Accessibility. Consideration shall be based on the area profile, location, and proposed security precautions if the location would be utilized. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building's ownership.
