- Item: Aircraft Maintenance Alignment JigNSN: 4920-00-626-9341 RNPart Number: 339814TCR-1Solicitation Number: FA8518-11-R-32373 Description: The requirement is for an Aircraft Maintenance AlignmentJig. This part is used on the C-130 aircraft. This is a C-130 specificpiece of support equipment. This item is used to perform bench tests onelevator booster assemblies. The item is steel and has a length ofapproximate 54.48 inches, a width of 27.50 inches, a height of 64.71inches and a weight of 150 lbs. The item must conform to the drawing339814TCR-1. The Requirement is for a basic quantity of (2) each and (4) options of1-2 each. Option I is for a quantity range of 1-2 EA and is valid for365 days. Option II is for a quantity range of 1-2 EA and is valid for730 days. Option III is for a quantity range of 1-2 EA and is valid for1095 days. Option IV is for a quantity range of 1-2 EA and is valid for1460 days. Options may be exercised for Air Force (USAF) requirementsonly. Assets will be shipped FOB origin. Basic quantities are ForeignMilitary Sales (FMS) and will ship (1) EA to PK-D-QAA and (1) EA toKS-D-EAF. Option quantities ship to is TBD. Delivery: 225 Days ARO Contract Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory,explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Governmentwill evaluate past performance utilizing the Past PerformanceInformation Retrieval System (PPIRS) as will be stated in RFP.Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with theevaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGEDTO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. It isanticipated that the RFP will be released on or around March 19, 2011.Proposals will be due on April 18, 2011. The RFP will be posted to theFederal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. NO HARD COPIES WILL BEPROVIDED. The technical data required to respond to the RFP may beobtained at FBO. Electronic procedures will be used for thissolicitation. NO TELEPHONE RESQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.
