- This is a sole source acquisition to Talyst Inc. for pharmacy system maintenance with period of performance dates from 1 April 2011 to 31 December 2011. The service is needed at the Keesler Medical Center/Pharmacy at Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), Mississippi. The solicitation will be posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 22 Mar 11. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 811212 and the size standard is $25.0 million dollars. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps, since copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of contract with any DoD agency. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
