- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has a requirement for operations and maintenance services for the NRC Headquarters complex located in Rockville, MD. The objective of this contract is to have a qualified facilities management company provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials and equipment to efficiently and safely operate and maintain the facilities, equipment and systems found at the NRC Headquarters complex. These services are commercial in nature and are required for a one-month phase-in period, three-month base period and four one-year option periods. A hybrid firm fixed price / time and materials contract is anticipated. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on or about April 6, 2011, and the closing date for proposals will be on or about May 20, 2011. The solicitation will be available solely through the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fbo.gov/. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps website. Hard copies of the solicitation document and its related documents, as appropriate, will be posted at this website; therefore, interested parties shall not send letters, e-mails or faxes requesting copies of the RFP. Accordingly, telephoned, mailed, e-mailed or faxed requests will not be honored. Interested parties shall be responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The Government shall not reimburse interested parties for any costs associated with responding to this solicitation. The size standard for this acquisition is an average of $14,000,000.00 over the past three years, as set forth under NAICS code 238990. This RFP is being set-aside 100% for certified hubzone small business concerns only.
