- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Amendment #1 RFQ11--412756 The purpose of this amendment is to respond to the question received prior to the cutoff date listed in the notice. QUESTION AND ANSWER Q1) Could you please forward me the bid specs for the purchase of two Police Motorcycles that are due by 03/28/11 please? A1) The solicitation identifies the requirement for the police motorcycles as brand name or equal and lists the salient characteristics as well as the required modification specifications. Please read the solicitation for requirement specifications. Items called for by this combined synopsis/solicitation have been identified by a brand name or equal description, such identification is intended to be descriptive but not restrictive, and is to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be satisfactory. Quotes offering equal products (including products of a brand name manufacturer other than the one described by brand name) will be considered for award if such products are clearly identified in the bids and are determined by the Government to meet fully the salient characteristics and requirements listed in the combined synopsis/solicitation. *Vendor shall acknowledge receipt of this amendment on each copy of the offer submitted*
