- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with US Tower Corporation 1099 W. Ropes Ave. Woodlake, CA 93286 for the procurement of a total of forty (including options) 80 foot Rugged Mobile Tower Units (RMTU480MDPLGO) P/N 15009-0000-0002 for the Naval Air Systems Command 4.5x Special Surveillance Programs (SSP). The 80 foot Rugged Mobile Tower Unit P/N 15009-0000-0002 includes the following features: - 80 foot extended height - 5 tower sections at 19 feet each - 600 lb. maximum payload - 8 foot 2 inch transport height - 8 foot 5 inch transport width - 28 foot 6 inch transport length - 9,600 lb. transport weight - C-130 Transportable - 30 foot x 34 foot deployed footprint - Low temperature: -10 degrees/C Operational and -15 degrees/C Storage - High temperature: +49 degrees/C Operational - Solar radiation: Three 24-hour cycles with 1120 W/m² solar loading The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
