- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL BUT RATHER FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The VA is conducting a market survey to identify the availability, interest, and capabilities of qualified members of the Small Business community [Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB)] as potential sources for the project described below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210, Facilities Support Services, with a size standard of $5,000,000. After review of responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be published on the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.FedBizOps.gov. The project is described as follows: Quarterly cleaning of nine (9) kitchen hood systems and two (2) laundry chutes. Please reference this project in the "Subject" line in your response. Requirement: Quarterly cleaning of 9 kitchen hood systems and two laundry chutes at the Thomas E. Creek VA Health Care System located in Amarillo, TX. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the complete servicing of all kitchen hoods and laundry chutes located at the Thomas E. Creek VA Health Care System located in Amarillo, TX. The service will include removing and cleaning filters of all grease, cleaning the hood vent system and laundry chute system from point of origin through the vents on the roof, cleaning all interior and exterior component of systems, to include light fixtures, and restoring to normal operating condition. Services are to be completed on a quarterly basis and all scheduled services will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) no later than 7 business days before the service. Interested sources are invited to submit a current capability package by the April 15, 2011, 3:00PM (PST), to assure your ability to provide the specified service. Package shall also include company name, address, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone number, and facsimile number and type and business size. Any SDVOSB's and VOSB's should be registered at http://www.vetbiz.gov/ in accordance with Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.70 - Veterans First Contracting Program.
