- Description
- This project will provide NETA (National Electrical Testing Association) approved service to all the electrical equipment located a Substations A,B and C. Service will include cleaning all the circuit breakers, testing there operation,adjusting and replacing as necessary, cleaning the bus bars in the switchgear, testing the load conductors, adjusting the trip relays, cleaning the transformers, testing the transformer oil correcting any discrepancies found in the oil tests and testing the SF6 circuit breakers operation and for gas leaks. In addition all battery inter cell voltages will be measured and terminals will be infrared scanned for hot spots. Those batteries not passing the tests will be replaced with new batteries.
