- Appendix 'C' Safety Performance Work Statement (PWS) Solicitation (21) Aerial Work Platforms This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12. 6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: The Air Force intends to issue an award for the following services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, personal protective equipment and clothing, hearing protection, eye protection including prescription safety glasses, materials and parts, manuals, transportation and other incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK, to lease, deliver and provide maintenance for the lease of twenty-one (21) Aerial Work Platforms, all with padding on the guard rails and platform areas. Locations in Building 2122 and Building 2136 hangers for the 76 AMXG Wing Group, Tinker AFB, OK. See Performance Work Statement (PWS) for descriptions of the platforms. The contractor shall insure all services and items provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and conform to standard industry practices. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award is contemplated. Please be sure to include the price listing breaking down the costs. The estimated award date is 1 April 2011. Central Contracting Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. This is anticipated to be a competitive requirement. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 532490 with a Size Standard $7.0M.
