- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation Glen Canyon Field Division has a small business set aside commercial item requirement to provide CO2 cleaning of Unit One. Contractors are to provide the following: CO2 Blast clean one Hydroelectric Generator "Stator" and "Rotor", approximately 30 feet in diameter and 10 feet tall (Rotor has been removed). Take precautions to adequately surround the outside shell with plastic and exhaust the CO2 from the Plant. Adequately clean up the oil and carbon dust when completed with project.Perform a wipe down of the winding and end turns with Environmentally safe solutions. Must supply all tools, materials, supplies, equipment and personnel. Must remove & dispose of all debris from the cleaning project.As local regulations may vary, all waste must be disposed, recycled, re-claimed in accordance with federal, state, and local environmental control regulations. All personnel will be required to complete security screening prior to coming on property. Must have valid photo ID. Evaluation criteria:Past CO2 cleaning experience is equally important to price. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov This is being awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13. The NAICS code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery & Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Complete specifications will be available under Solicitation R11PS4P406. Vendors must be registered in CCR.Gov to be eligible for award of contract. Responses must include completed clause 52.212-03 or ORCA registration confirmation. Tin and Duns numbers must be included with responses. Complete responses are due by 4:30 p.m. Mountain Standard time April 6, 2011. Estimated award date April 8, 2011.
