Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source On behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG). The Program Support Center intends to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 to CCH Inc., 2700 Lake Cook Rd., Riverwoods, IL 60015 for renewal of 738 and the purchase of an additional 75 new (813 total) TeamMate software licenses. OIG uses the TeamMate electronic work paper preparation software as its primary tool for preparing audit working papers. The product was purchased eight years ago. OIG is in the process of upgrading to the latest version of TeamMate and will require vendor support due to the current configuration. During testing of the new product, specialized programming services may be needed to resolve unexpected issues related to data conversion. By renewing the licenses to continue maintenance support, OIG will be able to obtain the necessary technical support, software patches and upgrades. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the software and services required. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE; therefore, requests for such a document will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are received with 3 days from the date of this synopsis, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the award to CCH Inc.
