- Description
- The 19th Airlift Wing, Little Rock AFB, AR 72099 intends to issue a request for proposals (RFP) to award a single, Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to provide commercial Aircraft Transient Alert Services. The contractor shall perform aircraft transient maintenance services to include arrival serices, ground handling, aircraft safety of flight inspections, maintenance, aircraft forms documentation (includes automated Maintenance Information Systems (MIS), processing services, departure services, and user inspections on assigned powered and non-powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and Support Equipment (SE). Contractor shall ensure quality work performance in accordance (IAW) applicable DoD, AF, MAJCOM and local directives and technical orders. The period of performance includes the base year with four (4) one year options. THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING ISSUED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE Identified by North American Industry System Classification (NAICS) Code 488190 and a size standard of 7 million dollars. This office proposes to post solicitation number FA4460-11-R-0003 to the FedBizOpps website ( https://www.fbo.gov ) on or about 14 April 2011. Once the solicitation is issued it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Contract award will be determined using the procedures of FAR Part 12 and the Source Selection Procedures in FAR Part 15. All Contractors shall be ORCA registered ( http://orca.bpn.gov ). All Contractors are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database BY AWARD DATE will make a contractor ineligible for award. Please acknowledge all requirements in proposals. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. No response to this notice is necessary. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
