- Question 1: Is there any further information available for the Cat 6 Cable being requested for this solicitation? Answer: The additional information that we have is that the manufacturer is Thermax, Inc. Question 2: Is this plenum or riser rated cable? Answer: This is not known, however, the manufacturer as listed above is Thermax, Inc. Question 3: Is a particular color required? Answer: The color of the cable is not specified, however, wire colors inside the cable are called out on the drawings are as follows: white with orange stripe; orange; white with green stripe; green; blue; white with blue stripe; white with brown stripe; brown; wrapped in foil/braid. Question 4: Is a data sheet or specification for the cable available? Answer: A data sheet or a specification is not available from the Government for the Cat 6 Cable. Question 5: If there is not a data sheet or specification for the cable available is this a non-compliant Cat 6 Cable? Answer: That information is not available from the Government. The manufacturer is Thermax, Inc. Question 6: Is the manufacturer or the listed part # known? Answer: Please see question # 1 above. Question 7: Regarding this pre-solicitation, do you know the manufacturer of the MX10G-24, Cable, Cat 6? Answer: Please see question # 1 above.
