- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Methodology, for Guest Speaker at the 6th Annual Leadership Symposium, "Stewardship versus Leadership as it pertains to the Profession of Arms campaign", on behalf of the Army Management Staff College. The Symposium will take place 12-14 April 2011. The selected offeror shall speak on the topic of Stewardship versus Leadership as it pertains to the Profession of Arms campaign, 12 April 2011, 11:30am-1:30pm. Resultant contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal conforms to this combined Synopsis/Solicitation, Performance Work Statement (PWS), is deemed acceptable, and provides the lowest price. The PWS will be uploaded under separate attachment.
