- Multiple cable connector, Level I Contractors submitting quotes are required to comply with MIL-I-45208. Level I requirements apply; Level I material certifications are required. High Frequency Sail Array fiber optic hull penetrator assembly to be provided as an assembled unit IAW PPD 802-6337554 Rev B, P/N: PPD 802-6337554-7.2.1 Penetrator assembly consists of eight (8) fiber optic receptacles and four (4) inboard fiber optic cable assemblies terminated into four inboard connectors. The cable type is a multimode eight fiber Mil-PRF-85045 / 17 “ 01P for submarine use. The cable must meet the requirements of Mil-PRF-85045 / 17 multimode. Penetrator body assembly consists of a penetrator body similar to Mil-C-24231 / 11 -007 IAW PPD 802-6337554-8.1.2 item 1, a penetrator cover IAW PPD 802-6337554-8.1.2 item 2, eight receptacle bodies similar to Mil-C-24231 / 12 “ 010 IAW PPD 802-6337554-8.1.2 item 3, nut, gland nut, and washer. Quantity: 1 each High Frequency Chin Array fiber optic hull penetrator assembly to be provided as an assembled unit IAW PPD 802-6337554 Rev B, P/N: PPD 802-6337554-7.1.1-2 Penetrator assembly consists of five (5) fiber optic receptacles and five (5) inboard fiber optic cable assemblies terminated into five inboard connectors. The cable type is a multimode eight fiber Mil-PRF-85045 / 17 “ 01P for submarine use. The cable must meet the requirements of Mil-PRF-85045 / 17 multimode. Penetrator body assembly consists of a penetrator body IAW PPD 802-6337554-8.1.1-2 item 1, a penetrator cover IAW PPD 802 6337554-8.1.1-2 item 2, five receptacle bodies similar to Mil-C-24231 / 12 “ 010 IAW PPD 802-6337554-8.1.1-2 item 4, nut, gland nut, and washer Quantity: 1 each Drawing to be made available upon request only. Valid DD Form 2345 and signed security agreement required. Deliver to: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery ME 03904 FOB Point is destination. Government source inspection is required.
