- THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) AND DOES NOT COMMIT THE U.S. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION (FDA) TO AWARD A CONTRACT NOW OR IN THE FUTURE This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify entities which are qualified to support the Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA) Division of Drug, Marketing, Advertising, and Communications (DDMAC) in planning, developing, producing, and delivering fully accredited Continuing Medical Education/ Continuing Education (CME/CE) courses for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists for a period of 2 years. This information is being sought for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, Solicitation, Request for Quotes, or an indication the government will contract for the items or services herein. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the government to award a contract, nor does the government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this source sought. Any response received will not be used as a proposal. No official solicitation currently exists in connection to this request for information. If in the future an official solicitation is released, there is no guarantee that sources responding to this notice will be included on the source list. **NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED** DDMAC is seeking to identify entities interested in assisting with the planning, development, production, and delivery of a fully accredited Continuing Medical Education/ Continuing Education (CME/CE) course for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists for a period of 2 years. Objective: The contractor shall work with DDMAC’s contracting officer’s technical representative and other DDMAC staff to provide accredited CME/CE as follows: a. The CME/CE should be widely available, utilizing delivery methods such as web based applications, iphone/ipad applications, Droid, and blackberry applications. b. The CME/CE must be accredited through an approved accrediting body and be available for a period of 2 years. c. The contractor shall provide all support services customary to CME/CE accreditation and maintenance, including all reporting and certificate issuance requirements. d. The contractor shall provide design assistance to DDMAC staff during the creation of the CME/CE program. Capability & Relevant experience – Interested parties should submit a capability statement describing their demonstrated experience in planning, developing, producing, and delivering fully accredited Continuing Medical Education/ Continuing Education (CME/CE) courses. Interested parties are requested to provide information on their ability to satisfy any and all requirements outlined above. At a minimum, responses should include company name and address, company descriptive literature, experience with providing CME/CE to a national audience of health care providers, size standard under the North American Industry Classification System noted above, point of contact (including telephone number, facsimile number, and e-mail address), and a list of all contracts within the past (5) years under which the interested party has performed same or similar work. If applicable, indicate if your company is on a GSA schedule or holds a Government Wide Acquisition Contract relevant to the capabilities addressed in your response. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify potential responsible small business sources only, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitement by the Government. The information that you provide will be evaluated to identify capable potential sources if funding is allocated for this effort. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for any informatnion solicited. Interested parties having the capabilities necessary to perform the stated requriements may submit capability statements via e-mail or regular mail.
