- Description
- The United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) has a requirement for Historian Support. The historian support is for a 3-month bridge award consisting of illustrator and editing, design, and graphic layout support for the Veritas magazine developed by the USASOC History Office. A sole-source, firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. It is intended that this requirement will be awarded to Echota Technologies Corporation, 3286 Northpark Boulevard, Suite A, Alcoa, Tennessee. The proposed contract action is for services which the government intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511120 with a size standard of less than 500 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested organizations may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to Ella Porter at portere@soc.mil no later than 7 April 2011at 9:00 AM EDT. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
