- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Force Logistics Command, IBCT, C&P2 propose a contract for the Dry-docking Maintenance and Repairs of the CGC SYCAMORE (WLB-209) whose home moorage is located at Cordova, AK. The contract will be performed at the contractor's certified drydock facility. This procurement shall be total small business set-side for all 336611 North America Industry Classification System code contractors. The period of performance will begin on 27 July 2011 and complete 05 October 2011. Only one contract will be awarded for this procurement. This procurement will not be geographically restricted. The proposed work items include but are not limited to: Hull plating underwater body inspect, Appendages (U/W), leak test, Tanks, (MP Fuel Stowage and Overflow), clean, Voids (Non-Accessible), Leak test, Chain Lockers, Inspect, Tanks (MP Fuel Stowage, Overflow), Inspect, Tanks (Potable water) Clean and Inspect, Propulsion Shaft Seals, Mechanical Overhaul and Inflatable Renewal, Controllable Pitch Propeller, Hub General Maintenance, Controllable Pitch Propeller, Clean and Inspect, Main Diesel Engine (MDE Exhaust Uptakes, Clean, Doppler Speed Log Transducer (s), Renew, Anchor Windlass Overhaul, Superstructure, Preserve "Partial", Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System Dielectric Shield, Repair, Deck Covering (Wet) Seal Scuttle Replacement,, Steering System Relief Valves, Test, Thrust Units (General) Overhaul and Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant, Renewal, Underwater Body Preserve 100%, Anchor, Anchor Chain and Ground Tackle, Preserve, Hull Plating Freeboard, Preserve Partial, Dry-docking.
