- Description
- The USDA NRCS in New York is preparing to issue a solicitation for work authorized under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program due to recent heavy rains with resultant flooding conditions. This channel clearing work is to relieve stress on the creek and lower the imminent hazard to life and property from flooding caused by this debris. The work consists of pollution control and about 0.75 AC of channel clearing in 18 Mile Creek as it flows by Springville Boston Road in Springville NY. Payment/Performance bonds are not required. The location of the work sites will be within the channel and as described in the solicitations. All necessary permits and land rights have been acquired. Price range for this work is less than $25,000 and the maximum performance time shall be 5 calendar days. Due to the size and nature of the project the solicitation package will be available within 24 hours. A site showing has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 30, on site, 11628 Springville-Boston Road, Springville, NY and bids will be due the following week, April 6, 2011 by 4 pm
