- Description
- This solicitation, SPM1C1-11-R-0070, is for the manufacture and delivery of Plastic Trunk Lockers, NSNs 8460-01-471-1024 (small) and 8460-01-471-1035 (large) which shall be manufactured in accordance with A-A-59490 dated 19 Aug 1999. This will be an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IDTC) with a base year and two 1-year term option periods. The minimum quantity will be 23,100 each and the Annual Order Limitation quantity will be 115,500in both the base year and each option period. The production leadtime for the initial order is 120 days and shipments will be made to Tracey, CA and New Cumberland, PA. Subsequent delivery orders will be due in 90 days. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis and offers will be evaluated using best value/Source Selection procedures. The evaluation factors will include Past Performance / Experience and Socioeconomic Support. The evaluation of Past Performance/Experience is considered to be more important than Socioeconomic Support. It is noted that for this procurement, technical merit is more important than price; however, price becomes the deciding factor in the evaluation process among technically equal offers. Note - This acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act. A copy of this solicitation can be obtained through the DLA Internet Bulletin Board System (DIBBS).
