Description
This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to solicits a proposal and enter into a contract wiht Qiagen Inc. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(C). The NAICs code for this is 541711. Naval Medical Research Center requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR, please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive and award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet number may be acquired free of change by contracting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at https://www.dnb.com/prodct/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within seven days from this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. A solicitation is not available.
