Description
This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This pre-solicitation synopsis supercedes the synopsis previously issued under W912PE-11-P-ENV on 3/11/2011. The 409th CSB, RCO Stuttgart has a requirement for a non-personal services contract to provide database update services on two Environmental Geospatial Information System (GIS) databases. This service will be conducted at USAG Stuttgart facilities in Stuttgart, Germany. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, other items, and non-personal services necessary to perform the update of a Compliance Geospatial database and a Conservation Geospatial database. Requirement includes field verification of environmental relevant facilities such as hazardous waste storage sites and oil water seperators, historic cultural sites, and urban tree data at USAG Stuttgart installations. Contractor will submit a completion report as well as provide GIS files for all layers developed and updated under this contract. Period of performance/expected delivery date is 1 May 2011-30 June 2012. Two one-year options may be awarded. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Solicitation No. W912PE-11-T-7009 will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 8999, business size of $7.0 million and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 541620. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 23 March 2011 at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Proposals must be submitted via e-mail attachment. Anticipated award date will be on or around 27 April 2011.
