Description

Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work for project 757-10-004, entitled Fuel Oil Tank for Boiler Back Up at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, as required by drawings and specifications. The work includes but is not limited to general construction and installation of equipment necessary to install Fuel Oil Tank for Boiler as shown and specified. Work to be completed with 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specifications, and drawings will be available on line o/a March 29, 2011. Hard copies of specification and drawings will be available upon written request to the Contracting Officer; requests may be faxed to 740-772-7008. Estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A pre-bid-conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. (local time) Monday, April 4, 2011 in the Main Building, Learning Exchange, at the VA Medical Center, 420 North James Rd., Columbus Ohio, 43219; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. Bid opening Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. (local time) in Room 4A061. This project is open for Full and Open Competition. NAICS 237120.
