Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intends to procure service contract to include: Parts & Labor 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays. Hardware covered: R-AXIS IV (SN: SD2946N), R-AXIS IV++ (SN: YD2674N), RU-H3R includes Haskris (SN: SD342703), MicroMax-007HF includes Haskris (SN: DD307408), MicroMax-007HF includes Haskris (SN: ED215905), and Saturn A200 (SN: 9380200) imaging plate X-ray diffraction detectors. NIDDK intends to renew the service contract covering three rotating anode X-ray generators and two imaging plate X-ray diffraction detectors and one mosaic CCD detector. The contract shall also include coverage for three associated Haskris heat exchangers. The continued operation of all of this equipment is essential and mission critical as the X-ray diffraction laboratory is an NIDDK resource and over 30 scientists are dependent on it for their research. Services to include but not limited to: scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, telephone support and replacement parts and components to manufacturers specifications. Vendor shall be able to provide/perform the actual services needed under this service agreement. This action is under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(1), as set forth on FAR 6.302-1 and HHSAR 306-302-1. Only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received with the 5 days after the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
