Description: STATEMENT OF'WORK F'OR PROPOSAL FOR 67 l-ll-137 4B RENOVATTONS Provide all labor, materials, services and qualified supervision required for 100% completion of design, construction documents and construction period services for 48 Renovations at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital and other specific tasks as further defined by this statement of work (SOW). 4B Renovations All work shall comply with VA specifications and all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations and codes and OSHA standards. Existing function: 4B - Acute Medical Inpatient Unit Patient Rooms, Restrooms, Miscellaneous Offices, and Nurse Support Spaces New function: 4B - Acute Medical lnpatient Unit o 18 Patient Bedrooms (total of 20 beds) o 17 Single Patient Rooms o 4 Isolation bedrooms (negative air flow) o 13 Regular Bedrooms o I Supervised Patient Room (contains 3 beds) o Toilet Rooms with sink, toilet, shower inside each Patient Room o Patient Lifts (ARJO) - (2) 1000# motors with straight track; (18) 600# motors with tracks that go from the bed to the toilet and shower as provided and installed by GC o Patient Bed Service Wall units (Hill-Rom) as provided and installed by GC o Modular Nurse Stations (2total), Nurse Report Room, Locker & Break Room, (2) Nurse Offices, (2) Social Worker Offices r Standard support spaces: HAC, Oxygen Storage, Soiled Utility Room, Equipment Storage, General Storage, Medication Room, Toilet Rooms, Family Visitation Room Design requirements are: o Demolition of all existing architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing facilities serving the 4B Area o Spray-on fireproofing of exposed 5tl'floor structural steel members Ą New architectural facilities (walls, doors, drop ceiling, flooring, casework and trim, etc.) Ą New complete HVAC system including but not limited to air handlers, heating/cooling coils, ductwork and appurtenances, control system o New plumbing fixtures, supply and sanitary drain piping o New electrical fixtures and wiring o New data and communications systems. Special Systems - Code Blue, Nurse Call, Fire Alarm o Provide deductive alternates to reduce scope of supply if construction contractors' bids exceed the project budget..
