- Description
- The following answers are in response to questions from industry received as of 25 March 2011. Q1. Do you have any news on the anticipated DRAFT RFP release of the Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems opportunity? A1. The anticipated release date for the DRAFT RFP has not yet been determined. A DRAFT of sections L&M and the Past Performance Questionnaire were posted to Army Single Face to Industry and FedBizOpps on 25 March 2011. Q2. Draft PWS Paragraph 4.1.1, Task Area 1 - Development: this paragraph indicates that work will be development work and will be performed by the system development contractor. Would task orders issued under this Task Area be considered exempt from the OCI Provisions in the contract pursuant to FAR 9.505-2(a)(3)? A2. No Q3. Will that exemption be identified in individual RTEPs and awarded Task Orders? A3. No Q4. Does the information technology requirement for this program (solicitation # W15P7T11RC001) include secure remote connectivity and/or secure file transfer capabilities between Windows based servers and other Windows and non Windows clients/devices. A4. The Government has a requirement to transmit and receive information up to and including the Secret level. The Design, Execution and Implementation of that requirement will be a function of the individual offeror's proposal. The Government is providing no further guidance on this topic as it wants to encourage creative solutions that bring additional value to each offeror's proposal. Q5. Has a decision been made on what specific contracting vehicle PEO C3T will use for these IDIQs? A5. Please refer to Section 3.1, Contract Type, of the DRAFT PWS posted on18 Jan 2011. Q6. Is the anticipated final RFP timeframe still the second quarter of 2011? A6. Yes All interested parties should continue to watch the Federal Business Opportunities Page (FEDBIZOPS) under the Solicitation # W15P7T-11-R-C001 for further information.
