Description

VAMC Beckley, WV is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business who has proven experience in roof repair to complete Replace Roofs and Fascia at the VA Medical Center, Beckley, WV. Work will include but not limited to roofing and general trades. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision for this project. All work shall be completed in accordance with all Federal, State and OSHA regulations. This procurement is 100% set aside for service disabled veteran owned small businesses. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 with a small business size standard of $14.0 M. This will be an Invitation for Bid, award will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bid. All work shall be completed within 180 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection and clean up. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The specifications will be uploaded on/about April 8, 2011; the bid due date will be on/about May 10, 2011. All documents including drawings and solicitation document shall be downloaded from www.fedbizopps.gov, no phone calls please. Pre-bid conference will be held on April 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM no other visitation opportunities will be available. All questions shall be submitted in writing no later than April 26, 2011 @ 3:00 PM in writing, no phone calls please. Questions will be answered via amendment in writing and publically announced.
