Description: This procurement is being solicited for award by SAIC-F under its contract# HHSN261200800001E for Operations and Technical support at the National Cancer Institute-Frederick, a federally funded research and development center. SAIC-F is the prime contractor charged with operations and technical support of the government owned facility contractor operated (GOCO) facility NCI-Frederick will supply the following : (Estimated Quantity) 60 Lateral Drawer Files containing file folders with approximately 350,000 images (estimated 7% duplex) 50 Binders containing approximately 43,000 images (estimated 7% duplex) 50 Books containing approximately 12,000 images NCI-Frederick will clearly mark the files which are NOT TO BE DESTROYED after scanning, and which files are to be RETURNED to NCI-Frederick at the completion of the project. NCI-Frederick will supply a list of contents. The Contractor Tasks : Pick up boxed material from NCI-Frederick and transport to the vendors facilities. Once received at the vendors location, the vendor will check the material against the list provided by NCI-Frederick. If there are anomolies in what is received vs what is on the provided list by NCI-Frederick. The vendor will notify NCI-Frederick immediately. The vendor will remove staples, remove paper clips, remove binding, sticky note copying, and return or destroy after scanning what is requested by NCI-Frederick. Once the documents are ready, the material will be moved to a high speed rotary document scanning station or to a ADF scanner and will be be done at 300dpi. All material is treated as confidential whether it is marked or not. A: Drawer Files Approximately 350,000 images; estimated 7% duplex; Images to be outputted to Hard Drive; Image type generated is multi-page searchable PDF File; pages are to be rubber banded and put back loose in files in order scanned and then destroyed except for Human and "Other" Tumor Cell Line. This group will get full reassembled and returned to NCI-Frederick. B: Binders Approximately 43,000 images; estimated 7% duplex; Image to be outputted to Hard Drive; Image type generated is multi-page searchable PDF File; pages to be rubber banded and put back loose in binders in order scanned prior to destruction. C: Books Approximately 12,000 images; estimated 50% duplex; Images to be outputted to Hard Drive, Image type generated is multi-page searchable PDF File. Once imaging is done, the books can be destoryed. The vendor will deliver all PDF files to NCI-Frederick on two (2) TB external Hard Drive or and estimated 6 DVD Creations. The files should be arranged in directories by: Lateral Drawer Files, Binders, and Books. The vendor will notify NCI-Frederick to set up a date and time for the return of material.
