Description
This is a notice of the Government's intent to issue multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for biologic types of mesh from multiple companies. The purpose of these BPAs would be to enable these companies to have a limited stock present in the Operating Room supply area available for the use of patients as needed without the need to purchase large quantities of mesh. The Government would like to use the following companies, each with a biologic mesh product that is unique in its properties: Ethicon (Flex HD), Bard/Davol (Allomax/Xen Matrix), Lifecell (Strattice/Alloderm), Acell (Acell) and Synovis (Veritas). The individual company representatives will be responsible for delivering the initial stock of mesh, conduct regular inventory of product, rotate stock and work with the Surgical Service Coordinator Nurse. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is an urgent requirement for Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC, 28310. These supplies are considered Doctors choice. The period of performance for the base year is 1 May 2011 through 30 April 2012, with four option years. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with several sources under the authority FAR 13.303. All responses must be received by 1 April 2011 @ 2:00 PM EST. To be eligible to receive an agreement, interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and have their Online Registration and Certification Approval (ORCA) prior to quoting on the project. Responses via email ONLY to Mrs. Ulett Benson at Ulett.m.benson@us.army.mil. No telephonic request will be honored.
