Description

U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Services intends to procure the following two items as a sole source acquisition to the vendor: Ortho - Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. located at 100 Indigo Creek Drive in Rochester, New York at phone number: 585-453-3093. (Item 1) Vitros 5,1 FS Chemistry System, Product Code: 6801375, Manufacturer: Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. The Government requires a system that uses a dry chemistry platform for analysis of clinical chemistries. This is the only method that ensures USDA receives the analytical accuracy and precision required to fulfill it's research mission. This unit is the only unit of it's kind that uses a dry chemistry platform and is only sold directly from Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. (Item 2) UPS Vitros 5,1FS (3kva), Product code: 6802069, quantity: 1 each, Manufacturer: Powerware Corp. located at 8609 Six Forks Road in Raleigh, North Carolina 27615 at Phone number 919-872-3021, Minimum requirements: Shall provide seamless power monitoring integration with Vitros, 5,1 FS Chemistry system, shall provide 3KVA output. The anticipated award date is April 18, 2011.
