- Procurement of "Plastic Sheet" in accordance with the Technical Data Package under NSN 9330-00-618-2122. This solicitation (SPM8E6-11-R-0007) is Unrestricted. The solicitation will be for a fixed-price, single contract award for a base quantity of 20,000 SH, with option quantities of 50 percent and 100 percent. The contract shall be awarded under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items IAW FAR 13.5. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Products Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DoDSSP) in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil/. Users may search for documents using ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST can be ordered from the DoDSSP using the ASSIST Shopping Wizard, after establishing a DoDSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures or by calling the DoDSSP Special Assistance Desk (215) 697-2179 (DSN: 442-2179). Users not having access to the Internet may contact the DoDSSP, Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 or mail requests to the DoDSSP, bldg. 4/D, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5094. Patterns, Drawings, Deviation Lists, Purchase Descriptions, etc., are not stocked at DLA Troop Support. Copies of the solicitation can be found on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ after April 1, 2011. From DIBBS homepage, select "Search RFP's". A search may be conducted on a number of data elements. Run search and choose the RFP you wish to view and download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF), so in order to access these documents you will need to install the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
