- Solicitation This is a notice that AFGLSC anticipates issuing a Five Year Firm Fixed Price type contract for the procurement of elevation clinometers (NSN: 6675-00-293-2930RN; P/N WK-23-1190 or P/N 142/43). The contract will have a basic year along with 4 option years. The contract will contain FMS CLINs. The contract will have the following quantities: Basic Year: 3 EA; Option Year I: 1-2 EA; Option Year II: 1-2 EA; Option Year III: 1-2 EA; Option Year IV: 1-2 EA. Delivery is required to begin 150 days after date of award. Assets will be shipped FOB origin with destinations specified on each CLIN. Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 15 days after issuance of combined synopsis/solicitation will be considered. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. To request a copy of this solicitation go to http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Approximate issue date of the solicitation is 24 Mar 11 with approximate response date by 08 Apr 11. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to issue a full and open solicitation. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. All questions regarding the RFP MUST be submitted in writing to carlos.renfroe@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
