Description
Class J&A_11_1610 for Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0005 Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole source delivery order under the BOA N00019-11-G-0005 to ITT Avionics of Clifton, NJ for supplies and services for field support of the AN/ALQ-214 system. The contractor will provide field support/technical services at Government and ITT facilities, as well as investigation of reported field problems. This AN/ALQ-214 support will include, buy may not be limited to: troubleshooting of problems (hardware and software) in the field and Contractor's facilities; initial aircraft installation and checkout; on-site laboratory setup, debugging and operation; data reduction and reporting; flight certification; flight test crew training; pre-flight briefing; and post-flight debriefing. ITT will provide technical support for the integration and backwards compatibility of the AN/ALQ-214 with other avionics. ITT will report on each investigation, and may be required to prepare and submit Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Directives (TDs) and Version Description Documents (VDDs) for Hardware and Software corrections, as determined by the Government. In addition, ITT will assist the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) teams in aircraft preparation, troubleshooting and installation of AN/ALQ-214 systems when required. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to ITT in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." ITT has been the sole developer, producer, and depot repair facility for the AN/ALQ-214 System.
