- Description
- The USGS Geology and Geophysics Science Ceter in Menlo Park, CA has a requirement for one Scintrex CG-5 Autograv Gravity Meter. The features found in the CG-5 which include an extremely linear drift and no screw mechanism, automatic seismic filter and tilt correction capabilities, ability to perform automatic tide corrections, an unlimite range (>100's mGal) and is high precision (microgal level), ultra-portable, relative gravity meter. The government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively per FAR 13.106-1(b), (1) to Scintrex of Concord, Ontario, CA. To our knowledge Scintrex is the only known vendor that meets the aforementioned features.Other concerns having the ability to furnish these services shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer no later than 1 Apr 2011. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. This is not an RFQ. This does represent the Government's only written notice of this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely, must be considered by the agency
