Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) is issuing this Sources Sought to identify potential experienced Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Hubzone, 8(a) and small businesses that are classified under NAICS Code 541922, Small Business Size 7M. The scope of work includes providing all material, labor, tools and equipment for construction documentation via combine indexing and navigation system with inspection-grade digital photography designed to capture actual conditions throughout construction and at critical milestones. Documentation shall be accessible on-line through use of an internet connection. Documentation shall allow for multiple-user access, simultaneously, on-line. On-line access shall be secure. This construction project is comprised of foundations, superstructures, including roof, related supporting structural steel and related site improvements necessary for the construction of the Hospital, administrative buildings and parking garages. The total square footage of the project is approximately 1.4 GSF. At this time, no solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a solicitation package. Small Business Contractors having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought. Responses should include the following information: 1. Company Name, 2. Address, 3. Point of Contact, 4. Phone number and e-mail address, 5. Business size determination and qualifying Small Business status, 6. Certification of Small business Status, 7. Firm's experience to include similar projects in size, scope and complexity within the last five years (minimum three) that demonstrates your firm's capability to perform construction documentation. Respondents are requested to submit a Capability Statement that exhibits clear and convincing evidence of your firm's capabilities and experience to perform construction documentation via combine indexing and navigation system with inspection-grade digital photography designed to capture actual conditions throughout construction and at critical milestones. The capability statement is not to exceed ten (10) pages single-side (front only) or five (5) pages double-side (front and back). Email your responses to: Tammiko.Newell@va.gov by April 7, 2011 with New Orleans Digital Photography in subject line. This sources sought notice is for market research purposes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought. Small business concerns failing to respond to this source sought notice will not be precluded from responding to the solicitation, if issued. Note: This is not a request for proposal (RFP) and the government is only seeking information for market research purposes only. The government may or may not issue solicitation documents. Any additional information regarding this notice will be posted at www.FEDBIZOPPS.gov. At this time, no solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a solicitation package.
