- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract to provide services to Replace Elevators Buildings 7 and 23. The cost range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov. This procurement will be conducted under full and open competitive negotiated procedures. Participation of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business firms will be addressed in the evaluation criteria. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 24, 2011. A pre-proposal and site visit meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. local time in Building 1, Room 121 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. There will be no public bid opening. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work for projects 538-11-105 entitled Replace Elevators Building 7 and 538-11-109 entitled Replace Elevator Building 23 at VAMC, Chillicothe, Ohio, as required by specifications. Work to be completed within 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Proposals are due April 29, 2011. NAICS Code 238290.
