Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-49. This requirement has been deemed 100% small business set aside under the associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333923 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This procurement will be evaluated as best value, for the purchase, delivery and installation of the following equipment: 1 30-ton capacity overhead traveling bridge crane. See the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Overhead Traveling Bridge Crane's required specifications, installation requirements, and minimum capabilities. NOTES to Offerors: ALL EQUIPMENT WITHOUT EXCEPTION must be new and manufacturer's warranties information must be included. Offerors will respond to each of the numbered required capabilities identified in the PWS. Diagrams, photos and or additional information are acceptable but not required. Provide the Government detailed information on the following: a.Installation procedures as it pertains to this requirement b.Estimated start date post award c.Detail schedule of installation d.Quality Assurance procedures e.Point of contact name and contact information, cage code, duns number, and TIN Incorporate this information as designated above as the last items of the proposal Evaluation will be based on the best overall value (i.e., best value) to the Government.
