Description

Justification and Approval for sole source. Product List for requirement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DGEMC12514 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. This acquisition is a sole source requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The source is Opnet Technologies, Inc.; 7255 Woodmont Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814, NAICS 511210. OPNET Business Size: Large. (See the attached product list and justification and approval.) Parties interested in future announcements shall provide detailed information of their capabilities and certifications to clearly meet the attached requirements. Response(s) may be via email or on company letterhead: include company's name, point of contact, address, phone number, DUNS number, CAGE Code, Tax ID, business size, and solicitation number. All responses received by the closing date and time will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
