Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia seeks sources, input and information for a Tactical Generator Microgrid. This information will be used to support a planned, upcoming Research and Development initiative to demonstrate this capability in concert with tactical power generation sources. Attached to this announcement is a DRAFT Statement of Objectives for this project. Comments from potential offerors with the ability to meet the microgrid objectives listed are solicited, particularly with regards to duration of development time needed, rough order magnitude for such efforts, and planned Technology Readiness Level at the conclusion of the effort. Also, please provide any additional comments or concerns regarding the draft Statement of Objectives, which includes a Notional Load Profile and draft Program Timeline. This sources-sought / Request For Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request For Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire follow-on acquisitions. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI, or otherwise pay for the information requested. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and Government use of such information. The Government recognizes that proprietary data may be part of this effort. If so included, clearly mark each page to which the proprietary data applies.
