- Repair, install and replace fences and force protection equipment within USAG Hohenfels and LTA Amberg, Germany. The solicitiation will result in an ID/IQ contract with a guaranteed amount of Euro 12,500.00 for the basic period and an estimated maximum contract value of Euro 750,000.00 for the entire contract period of 01 Aug 2011 through 31 July 2012 plus two option periods. At least 20% of the required work must be performed by the prime contractor. The solicitation will be issued on or about 04 May 2011 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 06 June 2011. The solicitation will be available at following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. Work will be performed in GERMANY, Europe and the contractor must comply with the German law (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany). All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the Regional Contracting Office. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
