- U.S. GOVERNMENT WANTS TO LEASE OFFICE SPACE IN HOUMA, LOUISIANA (SFO #8LA2161) REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 7,963 rentable square feet, which will yield 6,924 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of office and related space. The space will be occupied by DHS ICE - Office of Investigations (OI). LEASE TERM: 10 years; 5 years firm term. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Space offered must be contiguous and located on one level without being split by a corridor. Space must have potential for an efficient layout. Space should be located in a professional office setting. Space shall not be located within close proximity to residential areas, schools, parks or churches. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including a total of seven (7) on-site secured surface parking spaces. The parking requirements stated above are in addition to onsite visitor parking. The Government requires building access and in-suite services on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration. Space shall not be located within a base (100-year) flood plain or wetland unless the Government has determined it to be the only practicable alternative. Subleases will not be considered. Space must be fully handicapped accessible. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in Houma, Louisiana within the area bounded by the following: NORTH: From the intersection of Bayou Road (LA308) and West Thibodaux Bypass Road in Thibodeax eastbound on LA1/308 towards Raceland to the intersection of SR182. EAST: From the intersection LA1/308 and SR182 southbound to Barrow Street and continuing southbound on Bayou Dularge Road to SR 315. WEST: From Lake Theriot northbound to the intersection of Bayou Black Drive and US Route 90 continuing northbound to the intersection of LA308 and LA3107 in Thibodaux. SOUTH: From the intersection of Bayou Dularge Road and SR315 westbound to Lake Theriot. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1) Building name and address. 2) One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 3) Square footage offered. 4) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner.
